Situation/Case Study:

At the beginning of the year this teacher found out she was pregnant, accepted a student teacher and became a part of the mentorship program. Her experience with the student teacher was very challenging, this student needing much work and help and the teacher felt she had very little in the way of support from the college. This made tremendous demands on the time she felt she should be expending toward her mentee. She found this very frustrating and it made her feel less effective in doing her job with her students as well as her student teacher and mentee.
