Situation/Case Study:

Mary (not her real name) is extremely bright. She acts many years beyond her age of 5. She is more than capable of being able to listen attentively and focus on the short 15-20 minute lesson I direct. She continually interrupts, plays with things up at the circle, bothers students around her and looks to see if I am watching. I have reminded her many, many times how to act appropriately during circle time.
