STUDENT/TEACHER ISSUE

Description:
A child in a PE class confronts the teacher telling him that the class is boring and comparing him to the previous teacher. At first he was so surprised that he just responded that he was sorry she felt that way. After some thought the next day when she made the same remark he told her she was entitled to her opinion, that he was sure the previous teacher was an excellent teacher but that teachers have different styles and it really wasn't appropriate to compare them. After the class he took her aside and told her that her confrontational actions in front of other students was inappropriate and that he needed the respect of her as well as the other students in order to have the class enjoyable for them all.
