Description:
My 4/5 graders in art are enthusiastic about developing a personal, illustrated record of themselves. They were very creative in metaphor usage, and visual design details, plus choices of color. I was apprehensive at first because they were used to producing gifts for parents instead of a meaningful visual history of themselves for themselves.
