STUDENT BEHAVIOR

Description:
Student is frequently telling lies and "tall tales" to his classmates and me. This is starting to affect his peer relationships.

Hypotheses:
Teacher might feel frustrated because he has tried numerous strategies to reach the child without any success. The child may feel isolated because no one seems to have his same feelings or understands him. He may also be scared because he doesn't know why he is acting out.

Solutions:
Form support group for children suffering from these behaviors. Is counseling available to him either from school or home? Teacher might try to give him special jobs in the classroom to make him feel important.
