Description:
In this class there is one boy who has decided that everything is boring. He keeps saying, "This is the same junk we had last year." During the last 15 to 20 minutes of class (on mental health and keeping a positive attitude) the student dominated the discussion debating that school was irrelevant since he never learned anything anyway. The other students tried to address his attitude but he assumed no ownership of a problem and refused to acknowledge anything positive about school. The teacher was concerned because the final minutes of the class were so dominated by this child's negative attitude that she feared that the entire objective of the lesson was lost.
