STUDENT ACADEMIC PROBLEM

Description:
There is a student who is not turning in work and when it is turned in it is so late and of such poor quality that it is below a "D". This student has ability that is way above the work quality. The parents speak limited English and there are no Spanish speaking teachers at the school. The student received a D- on the report card (1% above an F). Tried working after school, recess time, notes home, with no improvement. Met with parents at conferences where they seemed concerned, but there is still no change.
