Minneapolis Faculty Resources
There are two PCs in the Resource Room. One is a picture/file scanner and CD burning station. Printed materials for scanning and CD burning are available in the room for self-service. The other PC is connected to the OpScan6 sanner.
Other tools available in this room include:
- Adobe Photoshop software
- Easy CD Creator software for buring CDs
- A networked color printer for the Minneapolis campus faculty and staff
- An OpScan6 scanner. This scanner is used for faculty and course evaluations and detailed test analysis.
- An OpScan2 scanner. This scanner is used to grade NCS bubble test forms.
Faculty/Staff Resource users are expected to adhere to fair use copyright guidelines.
We have one Macintosh computer which is currently housed in 444 since assistance is required with this equipment. iMovie, iPhoto and CD Burning software are installed on this Mac. Digital or VHS video can be used to create movies for classroom materials or projects. Contact Janet Winsand at 7710 for assistance.
Digital video and still cameras can be checked out through Media Services.
