Resources

Please note: The scantron equipment has now moved to the Resource Center.

The St. Paul Resource Center primarily serves faculty and staff in need of digital materials.

We have two PCs: Socrates and Aristotle. Socrates serves as our scanner station, and both serve as our CD burning stations. In addition to scanner hardware and software, our PCs are equipped with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as Macromedia Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash. The CD burning software is Nero and Roxio Easy CD Creator, as well as software that allows you to "rip" songs from a CD. We ask that Faculty/Staff Resource users adhere to fair use copyright guidelines.

Our two Macintoshes (Big Kahuna and Little Kahuna) are digital video workhorses. Equipped with iMovie HD, iPhoto, iDVD and Roxio Toast 6, all of which are easy to learn and use, learning the ins and outs of digital video is a fun and painless process. Recent video projects we've assisted include an English class video project and a video booth installation for an art exhibition.

We approach each request with a mixture of customer service and consultation. We strive to help faculty and staff be able to articulate their needs and fulfill them in the most efficient way possible.
