Program Description:
The Extended Program enables students to enroll in a specified sequence of liberal arts and sciences course work in order to prepare for a professional program. Experience in liberal arts and sciences courses before beginning the professional program can provide the student with the basic knowledge and self-discipline necessary for success. The Extended Program provides an opportunity for students to "stretch out" their course work. The average credit load is usually 8-10 credits per term, therefore Extended Program students usually attend part time for three years to earn the associate degree.
