Fostering Arts and Literacy in the Young Child
Credits: 4 cr.
Course Description:
Literacy is the art of knowing and expressing human experience using the symbol systems of movement/drama, music, spoken and written language, and visual arts. You explore ways to integrate the arts into the daily school curriculum.
Fostering Arts and Literacy is the second in a series of three integrated courses. This course focuses on the development of literacy in children in the primary grades.
Prerequisites:
EDUC 7490.
