LIS 7920
Information Seeking Behavior
Credits: 3 cr.
Course Description:
A survey of research, theories, and models of information seeking behavior with an emphasis on research methods and application to practice. This course builds on understandings and skills gained in LIS 7050. Assignments include in-class exercises, a critical analysis of the literature in a chosen area of study, and original research resulting in a presentation and research proposal.
Prerequisites:
LIS 7010, 7030, 7040, 7050.
