Situation/Case Study:

The teacher received a phone call at home at 7:45 p.m. from an irate parent because her son lost his $60 sorrel boots and wanted to know what the school was going to do about it. After investigating the matter the next day, the boots were found in another child's locker. The tags were cut out, though the name was permanently written on the liner. The child whose locker the boots were in denied having the boots that didn't belong to him.
