CURRICULUM AND TEACHING

Description:
My team uses a "Think Sheet" for kids who misbehave. Kids have to explain to their parents what they did which was wrong by writing about it. I gave one to a boy and later I found him sobbing saying he would be grounded at home. I told him I would take it back if he never talked like that again. Now I feel better but I wonder what message I sent in not being consistent about my rule.
