CURRICULUM AND TEACHING

Description:
Teacher gave an assignment teacher thought was clear. The first papers revealed that half the students did not understand what was expected. Teacher re-explained and provided examples. By now students had turned in a second paper. Several expressed great concern about the effect of the first two papers on their grades. They asked to have the first two grades dropped. Teacher said they could redo the papers but the grades would not be dropped. There was some discontentment about this.
