BUILDING READING AND WRITING SKILLS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS (4 cr.)

Good readers make good writers. This course is designed to help you become a better writer in your college courses by helping you to strengthen your critical reading and thinking skills. Sharpening these skills will lead to improved handling of paper organization, content, and clarity of ideas. Further, by approaching writing as a process, this course will help develop and strengthen key writing skills, such as thesis formulation, paragraph construction, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and revision.
