Biology (BIOL)

The minor in biology is intended for students majoring in related fields such as chemistry and psychology. In addition, the minor should be considered by those in pre-professional programs such as pre-physical therapy, pre-dentistry, pre-medicine, pre-optometry and pre-pharmacy if they are not pursuing a biology major.

BIOLOGY MINOR
Two 1000-level biology courses, preferably BIOL 1710 and 1720
BIOL 2720 (note, if BIOL 1110 or BIOL 1140 are used as one of the 1000 level courses, another course may be substituted for BIOL 2720 upon consultation with the department chair)
Two 4-credit lab/field based biology courses at or above the 3000 level
