Healthcare Sales Certificate (SALE)
Program Option: Certificate
The healthcare sales certificate allows women and men who are not seeking a college degree an opportunity to develop credentials in the field of medical sales.
The healthcare sales certificate requires completion of 34 credits.
Required courses:
SALE 2330 Introduction to Selling (2 credits)
SALE 3330 Professional Sales: Customer Centered Selling
SALE 3530 Selling into Managed Care
SALE 3630 Ethics and Integrity in Selling (2 credits)
SALE 4430 Advanced Sales: Strategic Account Management
Required supporting courses:
ACCT 2110 Financial Accounting
MKTG 2300 Introduction to Marketing (2 credits)
BIOL 2520 Human Physiology
BIOL 2650 Understanding Medical Research
ECON 2250 Statistical Analysis (or PSYC 2050 or MATH 1080 or ECON 2200)
Effective with students admitted Fall 2009 and thereafter, supporting work must be completed with a grade of C- or better to meet the requirements of the department.
