Program Description:
The Antonian Scholars Honors Program offers students of superior ability an opportunity to study and work with each other in a specially designed program of liberal arts studies. To deepen the love of learning and to provide the opportunity for independent scholarship, students in the program enroll in special honors seminars (HNRS 499) and complete a series of honors contracts in conjunction with regular courses in the curriculum. In the senior year, students research, complete and present to the public, under the direction of a faculty member, an independent research project (HNRS 497).
To graduate as an Antonian Scholar, students must maintain a 3.5 GPA and complete the six components of the program:
Two Honors Seminars HNRS 499
Two Honors Contracts
A third Honors Seminar or Contract, or study abroad during the regular school year
Senior Honors Project HNRS 497
