Program Description:
The certificate program in business administration is designed especially for women and men preparing for and advancing in management positions in business, government, education, health and other kinds of organizations.

The program enables students to develop and strengthen their skills in the functional areas of business administration, accounting, finance, marketing and management; to gain insights into the behavioral environment of the organization; and to approach administration with ability and confidence. All courses taken in the program also may be applied toward an undergraduate major in business administration.

To earn a certificate in business administration, the following courses must be taken:
BADM211 Financial Accounting
BADM213 Managerial Accounting
BADM230 Introduction to Marketing (2 credits)
BADM240 Principles of Management
BADM321 Financial Management
Two additional business-related courses as agreed upon by the student and the certificate coordinator.
Two courses may be transferred into this certificate program from another college or university.
