Course Description:
Study of physiology of exercise and neuroanatomy as they relate to physical therapy interventions. Introduction to therapeutic exercise principles, including strengthening and stretching. Theory and techniques of traction, mobility exercises, postural assessment and exercises, and neck and back exercises. Theory, principles and technical skills of electrotherapy modalities, including pulsatile currents, iontophoresis and biofeedback. Application of principles and techniques in classroom and laboratory practice sessions.
