Course Description:
Current concepts in family research are featured in this course. Students undertake a systems approach in order to gain an understanding of behavior within functional families. The course incorporates group activities, role playing and research of the family networks that define the interdependent relationships found within family systems. Nontraditional family systems are also discussed.
