Course Description:
Study of performance practices appropriate to the various musical styles from the Baroque period to the present time. Articulation, dynamics, tempo and rhythmic inflections, pedaling, notation and editions. Primarily for music majors (pianists), piano pedagogy certificate students and piano teachers. Other qualified students may be admitted with the consent of the instructor. Offered in alternate years.
