Student Affairs

Student Affairs
Student Affairs enriches students' lives and education. Working collaboratively with College and community partners to advance the mission of the College of St. Catherine, Student Affairs acts as a catalyst for learning opportunities through which students realize their academic, personal and career goals. Within a diverse and inclusive community and informed by principles of Catholic social teaching, Student Affairs fosters the holistic development of students as lifelong learners and ethical leaders in a global society.

Departments of Student Affairs include the Aimee and Patrick Butler Center for Sports and Fitness (athletics and recreational sports), campus ministry, career development, community work and learning, counseling, counseling and student development (Minneapolis), dean of students, early childhood, financial aid, health and wellness, multicultural education, multicultural and international programs and services, office of student affairs, O'Neill Center for Academic Development, residence life, retention programs, transfer programs, student center and activities, and admission offices for associate, weekend and graduate programs.

Specific program descriptions and activities are outlined below and in LeGuide, the online student handbook, which is updated annually.

Office of Student Affairs
The office of student affairs serves as principal liaison between students and college administration and assists individuals or groups with concerns such as campus policies and procedures, committee representation, student rights and campus emergency procedures.
