Residency Requirement

In order to graduate from the College, you must satisfy residency requirements related to total course work, senior-year course work, major course work and possibly minor course work. Course work in residence is defined as all courses registered for and completed at the College of St. Catherine. In addition to courses taken on campus, this includes course work taken on an exchange basis (fall and winter semesters only) through the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (Day Program baccalaureate students only) and approved study abroad programs. Credits earned through examination (IB, CLEP, AP, proficiency exams) or the Credit for Academically Relevant Learning (CARL) program are not considered in residence and therefore may not be used to satisfy the College’s residency requirements. Credits earned from courses taken at other ACTC institutions during J-term and the summer do not count toward residency.
