Our expert panel of alumnae librarians selected and highlighted fiction and nonfiction books for primary, intermediate, and young adult readers and for the people looking to guide them in their reading!

Not only did attendees heard hear the book picks of the panelists but their recommendations of the ages and grades for which they are best suited. They described specific themes in the works and books to teach with these titles. In addition, they even presented other works by the authors and illustrators -- so much fabulous information!!! Their advice will help attending teachers and librarians/media specialists plan how to best use these books in their classes and with individual students.

At the break, the participants enjoyed chatting over refreshments and browsing the recommended books for sale by the Red Balloon Bookshop.
 Every pre-registered attendee received clock hours or a reimbursement receipt.
