ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION BOARD NOMINATIONS
The Alumnae Association Board of Directors, the governing body of the Alumnae Association, is asking for nominations for three-year term board positions beginning July 1, 2009. Positions open are president-elect, secretary, treasurer, and 2nd quarter representative (years of graduation 1960-1975). Nomination deadline is November 15. Elections are held at the Annual Business Meeting in May. Self nominations are welcome. CALENDAR EVENTS
CALLING ALL KATIES WHO LIKE TO WRITE LETTERS! The Alumnae Association works to connect the minds, hearts, and spirits of St. Catherine women to each and to the College. The Alumnae Association often receives information about alumnae that we would like acknowledge by personally writing notes to them about significant milestones, prayers during difficult times, or to offer congratulations. Starting in January 2009 on the fourth Thursday of every month, we will hold note writing sessions for alumnae/i interested in note writing to fellow alumnae/i. The writers will meet from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in Derham 409. The first gathering will be Thursday, January 22. The Alumnae Association will provide notepaper, stamps, information of alumnae/i to write to, and coffee. There is no requirement that you come every month, or stay for the entire two hours. Saturday, March 14, 2009. 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. This annual event is a full day of hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities for girls in 4th-8th grade.
