ALUMNAE AUTHORS: We would love to have a display of books for the weekend. If you have a published book send one copy for the “Authors’ Table.” With a copy of the book, please send information about where the book can be obtained.

Class Colors Each class is assigned a color. Please look for your class color on name tags, for the reserved tables at the luncheon, and for tables at dinner.

Thursday, June 18 -- Settle in to Celebrate Our Campus and Impressive Alumnae -- the St. Catherine Alumnae Awards!
Afternoon
Noon to 8:00 p.m.: Registration opens at Reunion Headquarters -- Coeur de Catherine, main floor west, Centers of Excellence Rooms;
Until 6:00 p.m. DINING OPTIONS -- The Coeur de Catherine dining room and cafeteria is open until 6 p.m. for purchasing dinner.
6:15 p.m. ST. CATHERINE ALUMNAE AWARDS CEREMONY AND RECEPTION
Come and you will be inspired by the incredible lives of service and leadership of your fellow alumnae. The ceremony will be held in the third floor Rauenhorst Hall in Coeur de Catherine. The reception with offer hearty hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Please attend and help us honor these outstanding individuals:

10:15 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. ETHICS IN EVERYDAY LIFE: Guides to Making Sound Decisions and Helping Those Around Us to Do the Same

MEMOIR WRITING: Finding the Plot in Your Life
( You can take this mini-course for one period 10:15 - 11:10 or for two periods !0:15 to noon)
This is not just a class for writers -- it's for everyone! Writing can be a way of talking to oneself and shifting out the meaningful elements of our lives. Marybeth Lorbiecki SP '81, author and editor, will talk about the essential elements of memoir writing and organizing, and guide participants in some exercises to get the juices flowing. Please bring a notebook and writing implements, along with a significant photograph and a small object of different significance.

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: LUNCH in the campus cafeteria. Purchase special salads or grill items and eat in the lower level dining room.
12:00 noon to 1:15 p.m. BOOK TALKING with LUNCH: You can pick up lunch in the cafeteria and join a table in the lower level dining room for Reunion participants who want to talk about current books and new titles.

- 2:00 p.m. -- Visit to the St. Joseph's Hospital Archives Room (North Wing)
FREE Parking: 10th Street Ramp. Bring your parking tickets with you and we can validate them for you for Free Parking. Otherwise, valet parking will be available at the front entrance on Exchange Street for the $3 fee.

Afternoon: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00
1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ACADEMIC TOUR OF CAMPUS
Hear first hand from various department representatives on the innovations in programs and facilities in each building,. Presentations will include: University status and its impact; Master’s degrees and doctoral programs
Tour will included the following locations:
- Library area, MLIS Department
- New residence halls,
- Fontbonne: Business Administration department specialties and Family, Consumer, and Nutritional Sciences Program
- Mendel Hall: Science and Education programs
- Art Building: exhibits in the Catherine G. Murphy Art Gallery
- School of Health programs including nursing, occupational therapy/occupational science
- Organization of all majors into schools of the university
- Whitby Hall: Liberal Arts programs, School of Health nursing labs and programs in lower level, plans for 3rd floor transition to academic space, and renovated Jeanne d’Arc Auditorium
The grounds are already looking wonderful and spots like the Rose Garden, Dew Drop, and English Garden will be lovely to visit in June.
3:30 p.m. CHAPEL ARCHITECTURE TOUR IN OUR LADY OF VICTORY CHAPEL
Hear about Mother Antonia McHugh's adaptation of St. Trophime Church in Arles, France, the model she used for Our Lady of Victory Chapel. Mary Ann Brenden, associate professor of social work, has researched this topic and will offer this unique presentation.
5:00 p.m. MEETING for Ministers for Sunday Liturgy in Campus Ministry office behind Chapel Sacristy.
Evening: Individual informal class gatherings/each class will have a separate space. Invitations on colored paper have been sent to class individuals with the reunion information, including location on campus, time, and fee. This invitation also includes names and contact information for class committee members. If you did not receive your invitation, please phone or email the Alumnae Association.
Individual class meetings: Each class will conduct class elections on Friday evening.
Classes of 1934, 1939, and 1944 may use this time as they please. There are no specific plans made yet by these classes for special gatherings. Spontaneous events can be planned at the reunion.

Come pray with us and the Alumnae Choir in Our Lady of Victory Chapel, remembering our classmates, celebrating the gift of their lives and sharing our faith and deepest longings and prayers for the future.
11:30 a.m. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
Socialize with alumnae, families and guests at Rauenhorst Hall, Coeur de Catherine. Exchange information and plan to see each other again!

CLASS PHOTOGRAPHS
The photo for the 50-year class (1959) will be taken at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The photo for the 25-year class (1984) will be taken before the Saturday afternoon pinning ceremony. You may wish to take candid group photos during the Friday evening class gatherings or at lunch on Saturday.
ELECTION OF CLASS LEADERSHIP MEMBERS
New class leadership team members will be elected for the next five years during Reunion Weekend. Class leadership team elections will be held during the Friday evening parties.

RECREATION AND FITNESS
The Aimee and Patrick Butler Center for Sports and Fitness, which offers the use of the gymnasium, racquetball courts, running track, weight room, and cardiovascular equipment will be open during Reunion Weekend. Hours will be available in the schedule for Reunion Weekend.
Pool hours will vary on Friday and Saturday. Call 651-690-8777 for exact times.
The Reunion nametag is the I.D. on Reunion Weekend to admit the alumna and her family to the Butler Center.
BOOKSTORE HOURS
The Coeur de Catherine Bookstore, with plenty of memorabilia merchandise, will offer
convenient hours for shopping.
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
DINING
Coeur de Catherine dining facilities will open at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings so reunion participants can purchase breakfast if they desire.
HOUSING
Returning alumnae may make reservations for overnight accommodations on campus.
You will be staying in a new residence hall. One set of linens and towels are provided. Most rooms have two single beds. Spouses are welcome. Rooms are available from Wednesday through checkout time at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. If you are arriving earlier than Wednesday or wishing to extend your stay, special arrangements can be made.
SHUTTLE INFORMATION
The Alumnae Association will operate courtesy shuttle service on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Reunion weekend. The shuttle will pick up and drop off approximately every 15 minutes at the bus shelter in the northwest section of The O’Shaughnessy parking lot off Fairview Avenue. The shuttle will stop at various locations on campus, including Coeur de Catherine, Our Lady of Victory Chapel and Derham Hall.

STORING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES FOR AREA ATTENDEES
If local metropolitan-area reunion attendees wish to change before dinner, we can provide
space for storing attire and a room for changing in the late afternoon on Saturday.
HOTELS
A list of hotels in the area is available upon request from the Alumnae Association office, or click on: Discounted Hotel Rates in the Twin Cities. The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) have developed agreements with a variety of local hotels for alumnae and guests of the College. We encourage you to use theses hotels when planning for visits. Be sure to ask for the rate listed with the hotel. Click below for:
