During lunch, Karen Jothen MAOL ’06, director of Alumnae Relations, will share information about how the new hard-working, hands-on Alumnae Council has energized alumnae, from ages 21 – 91, with meaningful ways to connect -- with current students, through chapter events across the country and in service to non-profits, to name just a few. Please join fellow Katies for a guided tour of the permanent exhibit, A Dream of America: Swedish Immigration to Chicago, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27. This fascinating tour starts in the mid-1800s in Sweden and takes the visitor on a journey from Sweden to the New World, providing insights into the struggles and triumphs of Swedish immigrant life in Chicago. Cost for the tour is $4 adults, $3 seniors and students, and Museum members are free. To reserve your spot, please contact kathytinker@sbcglobal.net. No advance payment is necessary, bring payment on April 27.  Please RSVP no later than April 19 so we can let the Museum know how many will be on the tour.
