Wildcat softball drops two
April 2, 2007 – The College of St. Catherine softball team lost both games of a double header on Monday evening to Saint Mary’s University. The double header was the first MIAC games of the year for each team.

The Cardinals jumped out to a 4-1 lead with five runs in the fourth inning. The Wildcats battled back with four runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game but could not hold on, giving up the game winner in the bottom of the seventh for a 6-5 loss.

Game two was all Cardinals, they got two run in the first, two more in the third and four in the fourth on their way to a 9-3 win.

The Wildcats will be back in action tomorrow when they play host to Carleton College at 4:00.
