Wildcat players and staff work with area youth
May 10, 2007 – The College of St. Catherine soccer team along with the coaching staff recently took part in a week-long soccer clinic with youth players from HGRA (Highland Grove Rec Association). Over 800 young players got a chance to be coached and work with current Wildcat soccer players at the annual HGRA soccer clinic. Players in attendance were between the ages of 5 and 15.

"It was an excellent way to give back to the soccer community and the local players of Highland Grove. Our players worked well with the kids and it was nice to see a positive response to the training we gave. I hope we can continue to work with HGRA and provide some positive role models for the soccer players of the future,” stated Wildcat head coach Steve Bellis.
