Wildcat track and field finishes season
May 12, 2007 – The College of St. Catherine track and field team wrapped up its 2007 season on Saturday afternoon at the MIAC Championships. The Wildcats finished the meet in 11th place with 10 team points.

Individually the Wildcats were lead by Sarah Meissner (So., Stillwater, Minn.), Kristie Bronson (So., Princeton, Minn.) and Celeste Ventura (Fy., La Puente, Calif.). Meissner broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.52 seconds. Bronson set a new personal record in the 1500-meters and Ventura set a new personal record in the hammer throw.

“We didn’t finish the season exactly how we had hoped but we showed improvement throughout the year and we have built a great foundation to build a program on,” stated Wildcat head coach Mike Henderson.
