Wildcat tennis ends spring break with win
March 22, 2007 – The College of St. Catherine tennis team won the last match of their spring break trip to Orlando on Wednesday afternoon. With the win the Wildcats return to Minnesota having won four of the five matches played in Orlando, the only loss coming at the hands of Kalamazoo College.

In Wednesday’s match against Luther College the Wildcats got singles wins from Shelley Bebler (Sr., Wells, Minn.), Susie Hallquist (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.), Jenna Olson (Fy., Pine City, Minn.) and Abby Beytien-Carslon (Sr., Hastings, Minn.).

In doubles play, Bebler and Olson defeated their opponents 8-6 and Hallquist and Sam Shoberg (Fy., Farmington, Minn.) won 8-4.

The Wildcats will return to MIAC play on March 31 when they host Carleton College at the Baseline Tennis Center.
