Jenna Olson named Athlete of the Week
April 18, 2007 – The College of St. Catherine athletic department is pleased to announce that Jenna Olson (Fy., Pine City, Minn.) has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week.

Olson has won five of her last six matches as the Wildcats look to secure a spot in the upcoming MIAC Championships. The Wildcats played three must-win matches over the last three days and Olson came up big, winning two of three singles matches and teaming up with Abby Beytien-Carlson to win three straight doubles matches.

“Jenna missed the first part of the season with an injury but she is really starting to play well,” stated Wildcat head coach PJ Priest. “She has built a lot of momentum that will be valuable as we move closer to postseason play,” added Priest.

Jenna is the daughter of Kathryn and Dale Olson.
