Wildcat tennis splits Tuesday’s matches
March 21, 2007 – The College of St. Catherine tennis team split a pair of matches on Tuesday afternoon in Orlando. The Wildcats are currently 2-1 in Orlando, having previously beaten Illinois Wesleyan and Babson College.

In the day’s first match, the Wildcats shutout Mills College on their way to a 9-0 win. The Wildcats got a 6-0, 6-0 win from Jamie Weber (Jr., Benson, Minn.), and both Shelly Bebler (Sr., Wells, Minn.) and Susie Hallquist (So., Coon Rapids, Minn.) won 6-1, 6-0.

In the afternoon match the Wildcats fell to Kalamazoo College by the score of 6-3. The Wildcats got singles victories from Bebler, Hallquist and Abby Beytien-Carlson.

The Wildcats will play their last match in Orlando when they play Luther College.
