Work In Progress
DepartmentDescriptionCategory
ASL & InterpretingExplored filming faculty lectures for students to use to practice signing & interpreting. Transferred movies to Video iPod & HP iPAQ (PDA). Experimented with students filming at home on their PC. Webcam quality is "good enough" to post in Blackboard as QuickTime movies for download rather than complicate the process with additional hardware (e.g., iPods, etc.). May need equipment on campus for in class use.

Video snippets will also be used in practice quizzes.

In progress. 11/07

OSOTDetermined four re-useable question types: drag & drop matching words with definitions, roll-over popup windows, and line draw to connect dots of a puzzle. Exercises can be posted in any course management system.
