Family Weekend is a St. Kate’s tradition and a weekend for the entire family. This year's weekend promises to be exciting, entertaining and of course, fun!

Justin Kredible (FREE Event!)
Like a magician but cooler! Justin Kredible's dynamic mix of comedy and magic has quickly established him as one of America's premier performers. As a regular correspondent on the "Rachel Ray" show and a crowd favorite at colleges and events around the country, Justin lives up to his recent title of "Entertainer of the Year 2009" from Campus Activities Magazine (3 years running).

Parent and Family Association Speaker Series Kick-Off and Breakfast:
Parents Primer on The Reflective Woman (FREE Event!)
Join us for a lively discussion presented by the CORE Curriculum Faculty. Every student at St. Kate's takes the class The Reflective Woman. What is this course all about? Join us to learn more about The Reflective Woman from faculty who will share their insights, loves and challenges of the course.

Family Weekend BBQ and Free Pumpkin Painting Contest
Enjoy the great fall weather outside with other families and students. Participate in a pumpkin painting contest (you may win a prize!), get a free caricature or balloon animal and have some fun! Grilled chicken, hot dogs and veggie burgers will be served with assorted salads and desserts. The pumpkin painting contest will begin at 1:30. All supplies (pumpkin included) will be provided for you.
 
4:00pm-7:45pmFall Color Boat Tour
Take a ride on the Mississippi River Saturday evening and enjoy the fall colors, experience the history and majesty of the Mississippi river, downtown Minneapolis, and see the beauty of St. Anthony Falls and the locks! Tickets are $10 per person. Bus provided from campus to the boat.*

Bus #1 Board bus 4:00, departs from campus at 4:15, bus returns at 7:45.
*Bus is limited to the first 50 passengers. Driving directions will be provided to people not able to ride the bus.

5:00pm-8:00pmFall Art Tour: Multi-Campus Art Gallery Tour
This multi-campus gallery crawl will offer free shuttle service between St. Kate's, Augsburg College, Bethel College's 9th Street Gallery, College of Visual Arts, Concordia University, Macalester College and the University of St. Thomas.
