Family Weekend Alternate Directions
For Sunday, October 5, 2008, during the Twin Cities Marathon
On Sunday, October 5, there will be thousands of runners on the streets for the Twin Cities Marathon. The last leg of the marathon is a run down St. Paul’s beautiful Summit Avenue, which means delays for those crossing Summit to come to the College of St. Catherine.
We suggest you use the following alternate routs when you are driving to the College of St. Catherine on Sunday between 7:00am and 2:00pm.
From the east: Take I-94 west to 35E south. Take 35 south Randolph Avenue exit. Turn right (west) onto Randolph. Turn left onto Fairview Avenue and enter the campus at Gate 4.
From the west: Take I_94 east to 35W south to Highway 62 east. Take Highway 62 to Highway 5 to St. Paul. Exit on Edgecumbe Road, which will become Fairview Avenue. Continue on Fairview to Randolph Avenue. Enter campus at Gate 4.
From the north: Take 35E south to the Randolph Avenue exit. Turn right (west) onto Randolph Avenue. Turn left onto Fairview Avenue and enter the campus at Gate 4.
From the south: Take 35E north to the Randolph Avenue exit. Turn right (west) onto Randolph Avenue. Turn left onto Fairview Avenue and enter the campus at Gate 4.
Or...
35W North to Highway 62 east. Take Highway 62 to Highway 5 to St. Paul. Exit on Edgecumbe Road, which will become Fairview Avenue. Continue on Fairview to Randolph Avenue. Enter campus at Gate 4.
