Important Deadlines and Reminders
Registration Information for Financial Aid Recipients
Semester students
For maximum aid eligibility, semester students must register for:
- Fall courses by September 14, 2011
- Winter courses by February 6, 2012 for maximum aid eligibility.
Term (weekend) students
For maximum aid eligibility, term students must register for:
- Fall courses by September 16, 2011
- Winter courses by January 13, 2012
- Spring courses by April 20, 2012 for maximum aid eligibility.
Students who add courses after these registration dates may not be eligible for full disbursement of all types of aid.
State Update
There are deadlines for students eligible for the Minnesota State Grant. Students must submit a FAFSA within 30 days of the start of the term in order to be eligible for Minnesota State Grant funding in that term. Late applicants may still receive Minnesota State Grant for subsequent terms.
Semester students must have a FAFSA receipt date on or before October 6 to receive the Minnesota State Grant for the fall 2011 semester and February 28 for the winter 2012 semester.
Term students must have a receipt date on or before October 8 for the fall 2011 term, February 4 for the winter 2012 term and May 12 for the spring 2012 term
