Financial Aid for International Students

International students are an integral part of the St. Kate's community. A majority of our international students receive a scholarship to attend St. Catherine University. We encourage you to submit your scholarship application with your application for admission.

International Student Scholarships

Scholarships range from $1,000 - $16,000 per year while enrolled full time. The scholarship is awarded to female, undergraduate students enrolled in the day program.

Scholarships are based primarily on academic achievement and financial need and are applied to tuition and room and board. Note that most International Student Scholarships are based on the student taking four classes per semester and living on campus. Scholarships will be reduced if a student takes fewer classes or lives off campus. More information about specific international student scholarships is available here. To be eligible for a scholarship, apply for International Financial Aid:

Student Employment

On campus jobs are available in addition to scholarships. Students can earn approximately $2,500 per academic year by working 12 hours per week. International students interested in campus employment will be matched to a position on campus by the student employment coordinator during orientation. You can expect to work about 12 hours per week from your job placement. According to U.S. Department of Homeland Security immigration regulations, international students may not work more than 20 hours per week when classes are in session. Please see our student employment page for more information.
