What is the Annual Fund?
Your gift to the College of St. Catherine Annual Fund goes immediately where it is needed most – to current students in all of the College’s programs (associate, Weekend College, undergraduate day and graduate). Annual Fund gifts ensure that each year the College of St. Catherine is able to provide students with much-needed financial aid, up-to-date technology, library resources, career counseling, academic support and more.

What difference does my gift make?
Your gift makes an immediate and profound difference at the College of St. Catherine. Annual Fund gifts reach out to all corners of the College, helping shape every student’s experience. Each year, your gift ensures that current St. Kate’s students have all the tools and support they need to leave the College prepared to lead and influence.

Does my participation matter?
Organizations that rank U.S. colleges and universities look at alumnae participation as an indicator of the quality of an institution. In addition, many foundations and corporations look at alumnae participation as a basis to determine whether the College is a good investment. Your gift, when combined with the thousands of other gifts from alumnae and friends, adds up to big support for St. Kate's students. Your gift makes a statement that the College of St. Catherine is an institution worth investing in.

Can I make a gift in honor or in memory of someone?
Tribute gifts are a wonderful way to remember someone who has had a special connection to the College. It is a great way to remember your favorite faculty member, a mentor, a roommate, or a friend. When you make your gift, whether by check or credit card, indicate whom the gift honors and where you would like us to mail a note about the tribute gift.

Is a gift to the Annual Fund tax deductible?
Yes. The College of St. Catherine is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit and all gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

How can I make a gift to the College of St. Catherine Annual Fund?
It's easy! You can make a gift with a check or by phone with a credit card. You can also make a credit card gift on our secure online site. The College also accepts stock transfers. For more information on stock transfers, click here or call Karen at (651) 690-8725.

My employer offers a Matching Gift program. Should I participate?
Absolutely! Many companies sponsor matching-gift programs to encourage employees to support charitable organizations. Some companies will match your gift dollar for dollar; it is an easy way to significantly multiply your gift to St. Catherine’s and enhance the education of our students. Not sure whether your employer or your spouse's employer has a matching-gift program? Click here to search to see if your (or your spouse's) company offers this charitable service. Please check with your employer’s Human Resources department to initiate a matching gift to St. Kate’s. You may also direct questions to matchinggifts@stkate.edu.

What is the TeleFund?
You may receive a call from our Telefund this year. The Telefund is a group of hardworking day students who help raise money for the Annual Fund. The callers are a wonderful resource for describing what it is like to be a Katie in 2008. Your gift to the Annual Fund supports these students and all of their classmates.
