Corporate & Foundation Giving
Each year, grants and sponsorships received from national and local corporations and foundations support programs, faculty research, community collaborations, public events and a wide range of campus initiatives. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) is responsible for stewarding relationships between St. Kate's and its corporate and foundation partners.

Recent Partnerships
Examples of recent partnerships include:
Continued support from each of these three foundations has advanced the work of ME Robots, a curriculum development and pilot workshop program designed to encourage girls in grades 3-8 to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) studies and careers. A collaboration between St. Catherine University and the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys, ME Robots gives girls the tools, encouragement, and confidence they need to learn and enjoy science, and pursue further science study.
This orthopedic clinic with locations in Eden Prairie and Minneapolis is the premier sponsor of the St. Catherine University Wildcats Athletic program. The clinic pledged five years of support and supplied a new score table for the Butler Center Gym. This is a great addition to a facility where thousands of athletes, fans, coaches, and prospective athletes gather.
A new partnership between RKMC and St. Catherine University will help bring an exciting exhibition to the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery on campus in early 2010. Breaking the Veils: Women Artists from the Islamic World is a carefully selected, extraordinary collection of works by women artists who live in Islamic countries as diverse as Indonesia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. While the work spans a variety of mediums and subject matter, there is a common underlying theme which challenges the typical stereotypes attached to women in the Islamic world. The exhibition contains work by established women artists; some live behind veils, some do not. Breaking the Veils not only breaks stereotypes, but encourages discussion beyond the realms of religious and ethnic debate or the politics of war.
The CFR team assists faculty and staff in their efforts to find appropriate funding sources for research projects, ongoing programs, new initiatives, and conferences and other events. We present important new grant and sponsorship opportunities to both corporate and private foundations, helping them to achieve their philanthropic and business objectives through support of St. Kate’s, its students and its mission.
