Emerging Arts and Literacy
Credits: 4 cr.
Course Description:
Literacy is the art of knowing and expressing human experience using the symbol systems of movement/drama, music, spoken and written language, and visual arts. In this course, you will explore ways to integrate the arts into the daily school curriculum.
Emerging Arts and Literacy is the first in a series of three integrated courses. This course focuses on the initial state of literacy development.
Prerequisites:
EDUC 5070, 5800; INDI 5440.
