Application for a Degree or Certificate

When you are prepared to complete your degree or certificate requirements, you must file the online "Intent to Graduate" form by the published deadline.

MSW students file a "Petition for Graduation" form with the MSW office during the term prior to that in which all graduate requirements will be completed.

If you are pursuing a degree and a certificate simultaneously, file the form once, when you have completed all of your requirements.

Upon receipt of the form, the Registrar's Office will verify your eligibility for graduation and include you as a candidate for graduation. Graduation candidates are charged a graduation processing fee the term they graduate. You will receive a diploma after all course work is completed and all financial obligations to the University have been met.
