Changes in Registration
Students may change their schedule online through the end of the add/drop period. Students may add a course after the deadline with instructor approval. The academic calendar contains the deadline for dropping a course without notation on the transcript. Courses dropped between this day and the last day to withdraw result in a W (Withdrawal) notation on the transcript. Courses dropped after the last day to withdraw automatically receive a grade of F. Students are financially responsible for every course for which they register; the amount of tuition refunded for a dropped course is established by deadlines found in the Summary of Financial Procedures distributed by the student accounts office. Students are expected to read this publication and adhere to published deadlines.
Nonattendance does not constitute official withdrawal from a course; students who fail to withdraw properly will receive a failing grade for the course and lose any refund. Attendance does not constitute enrollment in a course without official registration. Students who attend class without registering will not receive a grade for that course.
