Graduate Catalog 2001-2003


Records

The College maintains the following records for students:
  • Medical records of treatments and immunizations received at the College are kept for seven years. These records are available through the Health and Wellness Center.
  • Financial aid records. These records are available through the financial aid office.
  • Academic records. These records are available through the registrar's office.

Disclosure of student records to a third party is limited by law. Access is given only upon the student's written consent, or as required by law. Additional information about a student's right to access his or her record and the laws governing release of said records can be found in LeGuide. Students are responsible for reporting changes in address, name, etc., to the office that maintains their records. These changes can be made at any time.

The College of St. Catherine registrar maintains official transcripts for DPT, MAED, MAHS, MANU, MAOL, MAOT and MAT students. The University of St. Thomas registrar maintains official transcripts for MSW students. The Dominican University registrar maintains official transcripts for MLIS students.

For a small fee, students may request an official transcript from the appropriate registrar. Transcripts may be withheld if the student has not met her or his financial obligations to the college.

Financial records relating to scholarships, loans and other forms of aid for DPT, MAED, MAHS, MANU, MAOL, MAOT, MAT and MLIS students are kept in the College of St. Catherine financial aid office. The University of St. Thomas maintains these records for MSW students.

Records relating to charges and payments for DPT, MAED, MAHS, MANU, MAOL, MAOT, MAT and MLIS students are kept in the student accounts office at the College of St. Catherine. For MSW students, these records are maintained by the University of St. Thomas student accounts office.

Personal records are kept with the Health and Wellness Center or the counseling office. Medical officers may have access to, and may interpret, these records. Students may review their own records with appropriate personnel in the office.
