Course Description:
Continuing on from Herbology 2, additional herbs are studied. Respiratory demulcents and expectorants, anti-inflammatory and analgesic herbs, diuretics and diaphoretics are covered. This class takes a closer look at cardiovascular herbs and the multitude of herbs used to enhance the immune system to fight viral, fungal and bacterial infections, and as well to fight cancer. You apply your skills to create and modify herbal formulas.
