Butler Center for Sports and Fitness

The Aimee and Patrick Butler Center for Sports and Fitness exists to enhance college life for all St. Catherine students, faculty and staff by providing programs and facilities that support their health and fitness goals.

This facility supports the University's commitment to academic and personal excellence through a balance of physical education courses, intercollegiate athletics, recreational sports, and personal health and fitness programming. The recreational sports program provides an excellent opportunity for physical activity, friendly competition and social interaction.

The University sponsors intercollegiate teams in basketball, volleyball, track and field, cross country, swimming and diving, tennis, soccer, ice hockey and softball. The teams compete within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III and are members of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).
