Storytelling for Adults and Children

Credits: 3 cr.

Course Description:
The art of storytelling is perfected through presentation and self-evaluation. You will develop your own style and method of presentation. Readings in folk literature, as well as more contemporary and classical sources are required.

You will also present stories regularly in class or elsewhere, plan storytelling programs and learn to evaluate and provide critiques of storytelling.

Prerequisites with concurrency: LIS 7010, 7040.
