Skills II: Biomechanical Concepts
Credits: 3 cr.
Course Description:
This experiential course uses the biomechanical frame of reference across the age span to develop skills in evaluation and intervention that are related to activity analysis, strength, endurance, range of motion, coordination and positioning methods.
You will also learn preventative techniques such as ergonomics and preparatory techniques like splinting and physical agent modalities to support and/or enhance occupational performance.
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of all prior MAOT program coursework.
